1Recording starts automatically when you open Keyboard events. No test-area click is needed. Press A once and check for a keydown and a keyup event.
2Stay on this page and try a shortcut. Keys are recorded even after clicking instructions, buttons or empty space. Inspect key, code and modifiers.
3Stop recording to review or export; click Start recording to resume. Clear the log for a fresh test. Switching tools stops recording; returning resumes it automatically.

Keys sent to another tab, the address bar or another app cannot reach this page. Recording resumes when you return. Browser shortcuts keep their default behavior.
