Practical preparation

First install and sign in, then complete one screenshot solution or voice answer flow.

1. Check capture, voice and settings

• Capture a complete question, confirm it enters the queue, then press Ctrl / ⌘ + Enter. Keep supplementary material in the same question; use Start over or Ctrl / ⌘ + R for a different question.
• Choose your role and capture scenario before recording. Computer calls include computer speakers and headphones. Use Phone speaker when the computer microphone picks up a call played on a phone.
• For a computer call, play computer audio and say a sentence. Confirm separate computer-audio and microphone transcripts. For phone playback, confirm the microphone picks up both people.
• Start with Manual and Ctrl / ⌘ + G to answer a question. Then try Auto or Ctrl / ⌘ + J for Voice solve if needed.
• Adjust width and height in Settings → Advanced Settings → Content area size. Check model lists, buttons and long code in the layout you will use. Use zoom shortcuts separately to change text size.
• Confirm settings saved successfully. Retry a save error before closing the panel.

2. Configure keyboard protection and meeting software

Enable keyboard protection in Settings → Advanced Settings and select the left / right Ctrl (Windows) or Command (macOS) key. Protection follows newly saved shortcut bindings; still verify them on your computer. See the full guide.

Before screen sharing:

• Tencent Meeting: enable Video fluency priority in the sharing window.
• Zoom: under Settings → Share Screen → Advanced, choose Advanced capture with window filtering, then restart sharing.

Follow the full steps and screenshots. Join a test meeting from another device, or ask a friend to check the view they receive.

3. Check screen sharing, page focus and keyboard events

• Shared screen: inspect whether the client toolbar or panels appear in browser capture.
• Page focus: first switch tabs to confirm departure recording works. Start a fresh round, keep the test page in front and check your usual client actions.
• Keyboard events: press A to confirm recording works. Compare the same modifier side and shortcut with protection off and on, and confirm the client performs its action.

Switching checks stops the previous one. Browser checks do not replace testing in your meeting app. Include text entry and local file selection in your rehearsal if you will use them.

4. Rehearse the complete flow

Use the meeting app, monitor and audio devices you plan to use. Practice capturing, answering, paging, hiding the window, stopping recording and finding records. Stopping clears the current voice display; finish reading or copy what you need first.
