Introduction

What is GankInterview?

GankInterview combines a desktop AI assistant, web mock interviews, a question bank and job-search materials to help you practice answers, solve tasks and review the process.

• Desktop assistant: capture on-screen questions, or transcribe audio to generate interview answers and solve spoken tasks.
• AI mock interview: use a role and resume for a complete interview with questions, follow-ups and review.
• Question bank and materials: practice by topic, find campus recruiting information, and manage resumes and application progress.

First-time workflow

1. Install and sign in, then complete the permission check.
2. Practice one screenshot task. For voice practice, open toolbar gear → Voice Settings, choose your role and audio setup, and wait for saving to finish. Click Voice or use the default Ctrl / ⌘ + M to start recording and open the panel, then choose Manual or Auto there and generate an answer.
3. Follow Practical preparation to check audio, shortcuts and the actual shared screen.
4. Review local and web records. Start an AI mock interview when you want a complete rehearsal.

Common settings

Choose language, model and screenshot area in client Settings. Before recording, open toolbar gear → Voice Settings, choose your role and audio setup, and wait for saving to finish. Choose Auto or Manual in the voice panel after recording starts. Advanced Settings contains content width and height, shortcuts and custom APIs.
