Preparation & Materials/AI Resume Optimizer

AI Resume Optimizer

Manage resume versions, tailor them to target JDs, run AI scoring, enrich interview details, and export application-ready resumes.

Treat this page as the final step before applying: tailor the resume, run scoring, enrich likely follow-up details, then export and validate the result in practice.

What this page is for

AI Resume Optimizer is a full resume workspace, not just a wording editor.

In one page, you can manage versions, tailor a resume to a role, diagnose quality with AI scoring, and enrich details that interviewers are likely to ask about. The goal is to move a resume from readable to ready to submit, explain, and review.

What you can do here

ModuleWhat you get
Resume version managementUpload, edit, duplicate, and delete versions so each target role can have its own branch.
JD tailoringPaste a job description, generate targeted rewrite suggestions, and apply accepted changes section by section.
AI scoringGet an overall score, dimension analysis, and prioritized improvement suggestions that can be written back selectively.
Follow-up enrichmentGenerate likely follow-up questions and draft answers so experience is ready to explain out loud.
Templates and exportAdjust layout and export a PDF for formal applications.
  1. Upload a baseline resume that is already usable. PDF and DOCX are supported, with a 10MB file limit.
  2. Open JD tailoring and use the target job description for the first role-specific rewrite.
  3. Run AI scoring, review the total score and high-priority issues, and fix the items that most affect screening.
  4. Use follow-up enrichment to add details interviewers are likely to probe.
  5. Save the changes, export a PDF, then move into interview practice to validate whether the content can be explained clearly.

How to use the three AI modules

JD tailoring

JD tailoring supports pasted text and screenshot recognition. If the job description is too short, the system will ask you to provide more context before generating. Suggestions do not overwrite the resume automatically; you can accept them section by section.

AI scoring

Scoring supports a general mode and a JD-aware role mode. JD-aware scoring is closer to a real application scenario, so run it after tailoring and prioritize high-impact suggestions.

Follow-up enrichment

This module first generates likely follow-up questions, then produces editable answer drafts. After you add details, the system shows the enriched differences, and you can decide which items to write back. Use it to move experience from "written on the resume" to "ready to explain."

After using "write back to resume," click "Save" to make the change permanent. Unsaved changes may be lost if the page is refreshed.

Versions and access

The page can be browsed while signed out, but upload, save, and export actions require sign-in.

Free plans support basic editing with limits. Trial and subscription plans unlock advanced capabilities such as JD tailoring, AI scoring, follow-up enrichment, translation, export, and intelligent layout.

Practical tips

  1. Keep a separate resume version for each target role instead of sending the same file everywhere.
  2. Prioritize verifiable details: results, scale, ownership boundaries, and personal contribution.
  3. Before exporting, run one mock Q&A pass to confirm that every important resume point can be explained.
