Finish installation

Follow Installation and login to check permissions and your account. Once the toolbar appears, practice hiding and showing it with Ctrl / ⌘ + B: Ctrl on Windows, ⌘ on Mac.

Practice a screenshot task

1. Open a question with its complete statement, requirements and necessary examples.
2. Choose a solving model and full-screen or area capture in Settings.
3. Press Ctrl / ⌘ + H, then check the images in the queue.
4. Press Ctrl / ⌘ + Enter to solve and read the answer.
5. For errors or additional conditions on the same task, capture and submit again. Use Start over or Ctrl / ⌘ + R for a different question.

Practice a voice answer

1. Click the toolbar gear → Voice settings. Choose Candidate or Interviewer and Computer call or Phone speaker, then wait for automatic saving to finish.
2. Select a voice answer model and answer language in the same window, then close Settings.
3. Click Voice on the toolbar or press Ctrl / ⌘ + M to start recording for the first time. Select Manual in the voice panel, have the other person ask a complete question and confirm a transcript appears.
4. Press Ctrl / ⌘ + G for Answer question. Use Ctrl / ⌘ + J for Voice solve on spoken programming, math or scenario tasks.
5. After reading, press Ctrl / ⌘ + M to stop. Stopping clears the current transcript and answer display; copy anything you need first or review the saved record afterward.

Review records and rehearse

Local records are in Documents/GankInterview Records. Recordings whose duration is shorter than 60 seconds after rounding up to whole seconds stay local. Queued uploads retry when the original account is signed in and the network returns.
