Custom API & Models
Current Region
In the desktop client, open Settings and then Advanced Settings. Use Current Region to choose the model service channel:
- Mainland China: optimized for users mainly on mainland China networks.
- Other regions: optimized for users outside mainland China or on cross-border networks.
After switching the region, the client fetches the available model configuration again. If models load slowly, requests time out, or responses are unstable, first verify that this setting matches the current network location.
Custom API (Pro and above)
Pro and above support custom API configuration. Fill in model name, API URL, and API Key, then save. The API Key is stored only on the current device and is used only when requesting the API service you configured.
Model selection and multimodal labels
Model badges indicate multimodal capability.
Recommendations
- Use Mainland China for domestic networks and Other regions for overseas networks.
- Ensure API URL and model name match.
- Run one short validation session before real interviews.
- If latency or failures occur, compare with the default model first.
